To join the Hume Society, or to submit a paper for the Hume Conference, you first need to create an account on this site. Once you have done so using the short form below, you will have access to additional forms for paying your membership fees and for submitting papers.

Membership cost varies according to salary, and there is a discount for 5-year membership. The cost of membership for 1 year is:

Membership grants you access to restricted parts of this site, showing special offers for members, society information, forms for taking part in committee elections, etc. It also comes with a subscription to the journal Hume Studies, and access to the full online archive.

Note that you do not need to be a member to submit a paper for the Hume Conference, but membership is a prerequisite for taking part in the conference itself.

Members in the United States: Please consider sending your membership dues via Zelle (vicepresident@humesociety.org). Doing so would save us between USD $2-5 in processing fees per transaction. The EVP-T will personally contact you to confirm receipt of your membership dues and to provide your new membership expiration date.
